Welcome to PHASMA -TANIA. An improved web site on Phasmids,
or better known as stick and Leaf  insects.Over the past few years
the keeping, raising and breeding of these fascinating insects has
become more popular, so I hope you will browse through  the
pages of  various species I have raised from around the world such
as the Malaysian
Heteropteryx dilatata  a truly large and beautiful
species, or even the slender, but colourful
Oreophotes peruana
phasmid from Peru. View the unusual leaf insect
 Phyllium sp  from
the Philippines.
Why not travel around the world and view their
Environment, to see
where countless species of phasmids live, plus many other pages
to visit like the vast array of
Plant-Foods,  that each of the species
eats, and a list of  all known phasmids, still to be completed. I hope
you will enjoy your visit to this improved and informative website
which has taken quite a long time to prepare both with lots of added
improvements and additional material, At last I have come to the
finale, so to speak and hope that all my efforts are worthwhile. I
would like to offer my thanks and gratitude to all the people
concerned who like myself, just love stick insects as without there
help, this site would not be possible or available to all others
interested in the fascinating world of the stick insect.
